You are invited to the 2009 Plant it Party in downtown Constantine, Michigan.

The downtown merchants will be open from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on April 24, 2009. Some of the merchants will be giving away pine trees. T-shirts & sweatshirt featuring the above logo will be for sale. The Constantine Public Schools will have earth day art work on display. The Meeks Mill Garden Club will be displaying flower arrangements. Graber Trucking & Cardboard Recycling Center will be here with their recycling bins (Newspaper, magazine and cardboard). Bring your recyclables. Waste Management will also be here with their “green” campaign and other fun things so come out and enjoy EARTH DAY.

The Village will come alive with all of the stores being open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Not to mention that Santa Claus and his reindeer will be here Saturday morning). The current Retailers/Businesses in Constantine are:

Christmas in Constantine













The Constantine Downtown Development Authority will be hosting Christmas in Constantine Michigan.


Saturday, December 13th, 2008 - 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 until 7:00 p.m.



Starting with the fun on the morning of December 13th, with the arrival of Santa Claus and one of his reindeer.

Santa Claus will be located in the Village Inn Restaurant (180 S Washington Street) from 9 to noon. Rumor has it that he might even be seen around town on the fire truck. While Santa is at the Village Inn his reindeer will be located in Shelby Park (the park next to the Constantine Auto Parts on East Water Street). His reindeer will be there for petting and viewing, he will be in the park until around 1:00 p.m.

The Merchants of Constantine are also going to be open for your Christmas shopping and enjoyment. Please stop and enjoy the local retailers. Most of the stores will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.


The Constantine Public School Music Department has agreed to be the entertainment for the event, there will be music in Shelby Park and Carolers on the street.


Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 until 7:00 p.m.
Santa Claus will be back in Constantine at the Constantine Public Library, the library will be having an open house and festive items going on.
Downtown the stores will be open until 7:00 p.m.
There will be music in the park and Carolers on the street.
